Werner's autobiographical writing
Memorigrams (1940) by ETC Werner a collection of china observations and magazine articles plus an entire end chapter given over to the murder of Pamela
More Memorigrams (1948) by ETC Werner After his return to Peking from Japanese internment during WW2, Werner published his last book, More Memorigrams(1948), a sequel to Memorigrams (1940). As with the earlier book of China anecdotes and magazine articles, Werner concluded with an entirely unrelated chapter on Pamela's murder, including an account detailing how he believed it occurred (see accompanying images). Prentice and the Italian doctor, Capuzzo, appear as his chief suspects, whom he labels “A” and “B” respectively.
